• Training Tools & Milestone Tracking – Build structured routines, celebrate achievements, and get guidance for common rescue-dog challenges.

• Episodes & Learning Resources – Watch or read guided episodes that explain key rescue-dog topics, and browse downloadable information posters for quick reference.

• Community Features – Connect with other adopters, share stories, comment on posts, and join discussions in a safe, moderated environment.

• Account & Profile Options – Create a profile for yourself and your dog, customise privacy settings, upload avatars or cover images, and manage followers or connections.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use any part of The Rescue Dog Calm Plan platform, whether through a browser on desktop or mobile.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide personalised coaching, behavioural reports and forecasts via OpenAI’s API

• Analyse trends to improve your dog’s wellbeing and training routines

• Manage community features, messaging, and milestone badges

• Keep accounts secure and recover data if needed

• Operate and improve the platform (analytics, bug fixing)

4. Sharing & Third-Party Processing

We only share your information with trusted third parties that help us run The Rescue Dog Calm Plan platform. These services process data on our behalf under strict agreements and never gain ownership of your content.

• OpenAI – Processes behavioural text and journal content to generate coaching tips, prompts, and reports.

• Supabase – Provides hosting, authentication, database, and file storage for your account, behavioural data, episodes, and information posters.

• Squarespace – Handles membership verification (if applicable) and hosts episodes, information posters, and dashboard content.

• Zapier – Automates platform workflows, such as sending confirmation emails, syncing data between modules, and triggering AI analysis when you log behaviour.

We never sell your personal information.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Hosted on Supabase infrastructure (servers may be in the US)

• Database protected by Row Level Security, encrypted connections, rate limiting, and password strength checks

• File uploads stored in secure buckets with access controls

6. Retention & Deletion

• Sessions, chats, and prompt cache: ~30 days

• Behaviour logs, AI reports, profiles: kept until you delete them or request account deletion

• Security/audit logs: retained for compliance

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may:

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

Access to The Rescue Dog Calm Plan is provided through a single subscription: NZD 75 per year.

1. Subscription Terms

• Your subscription gives you full access to the platform, including:

  • Behaviour logging and AI coaching tools

  • Community discussions and support

  • Episodes and information posters

  • Training routines, milestones, and all other features

• The subscription runs for 12 months from the date of purchase.

2. Cancellations

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [support email].

• Cancelling stops your subscription from renewing at the end of the billing period.

• No refunds are issued for any portion of an unused subscription period.

3. Termination by Us

• We may suspend or remove access if you violate our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.

• If access is removed for breach, no refunds will be issued.

4. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights provided under local consumer protection laws (e.g., New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act).

3. User-Generated Content

You may download and share your own behavioural analysis reports or behavioural forecast reports (in full or in part) for personal, educational, or professional use (for example, with a trainer, vet, or support group).

• Present AI reports as your own proprietary service or use them to train competing AI systems.

• Modify the reports in a way that misrepresents their source or purpose.
